As an artist and curator, my point of view in organizing exhibitions and interpreting works of art has grown from my studio practice – I hope to help viewers find meaning in art by helping them look carefully and ask questions. I care deeply about removing barriers between artists, audiences, and institutions, and strive to find a balance between accessibility and academic rigor.
I co-founded the artist-run exhibition space Kiosk Gallery with my husband Eric in 2012, and organized dozens of exhibitions promoting emerging local artists, before ceding operations fully to Eric in 2018.
In my role as the Curator of the Hallmark Art Collection, I have focused on making the collection accessible and relevant to the company’s employees, and worked to share the collection with the public through museum loans and exhibitions.
