Through my studio practice, I process my experiences of suburban comfort and constriction, belonging and alienation. In a landscape which is constantly transforming, I am both a witness and participant. The scenes I depict are connected loosely to the web of my own memories, history, and meditations; I reveal a personal narrative, but attempt to relate to a broader experience of the spaces that surround American cities.
